Oil/Acrylic Paintings
Conservation

Treatments include;

Cleaning- Dirt, Varnish Overpaint removal
Consolidation of flaking paint
Repair of canvas tears or holes
De acidifying canvas
Lining or strip lining, and re-stretching of canvas
Wood panels and cradle repairs or worm treatment
In-painting areas of damage, loss or reconstruction of detail where paintings have suffered past abrasion
Conservation spray varnishing

Paper Conservation

Paper conservation treatments include;

Removal of old acidic mounts
Cleaning to remove acidic spots and staining
treatment to mould and worm infestation

Frame Restoration and
Gilding

Frame conservation treatments include;

Removal of discoloured Bronze paint
Repair and re-casting of damaged composition details
Re-gilding with Water gilding or Oil gilding as appropriate
Burnishing or toning down with washes to create a perfect finish

Re-Framing & Finishing

Liaising with client to select and finish new bespoke frame and moulding of their choice
